Ahhh, What I was actually hired at Lockheed to work on... My clearances came through and I was thrown to the wolves... This was a completely black (classified) program, so "I could tell you what I did, but then I'd have to kill ya..." Besides, my imagination of what I thought the job was going to be was much better than the actual work >:^)
It was fun though getting free reign to design test equipment, researching what COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) equipment was available, and writing the software to tie it all together... As for being 'System Manager', that was more of "if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself...". Besides, no-one else wanted to do it. >:^) Unfortunately, again, this project was eventually terminated.
