Right now, I have been playing a lot of Rainbow 6: Rogue Spear: Urban Operations (I have an OLD computer). So, it was one of the first games that I modified. I was familiar with the game, having played the PS1 version of the first Rainbow 6 and Rogue Spear, but the PC version has more options.
This is version V0.02beta of my mods. Just unzip this into the mods folder and turn it on under the Options. This version includes:
The addition of the Grenade Launchers adds another Specialty to a team - the Grenadier (really just part of the Demolition Specialty). One can now send a grenade 300 to 400m. It can also be used to breach doors from afar. Also, the addition of some Machine Pistols as Secondary Weapons allows Snipers (and Grenadiers) to carry a Secondary Weapon with more kick than just a pistol.

There are no known bugs in this release. I have tried to choose existing models that look close to the new weapons, but I do need to create some new models when I get the tool.
The first mission for my new campaign is ready!!! This download included all of the above plus a new Hostage Rescue mission (and an Assault version). It does load it into a different directory, so you can still download the above mods and just use them for the old campaigns (see below).Download available on request

This just in !!! Mission #2 is done. But I'm going to hold onto it until the campaign is finished, just in case I need to do some tweaks to anything to make everything fit together. Plus, I still haven't been able to upload stuff to my Geocities account ??? But the latest mods are in my Yahoo Briefcase, so enjoy till I do a full release.
This is another game that my friends and I have been playing on Fridays. I was able to download some tools for this game, so I told my friends I would look into doing some mods for it. I think it will run on my home PC. Stay tuned...
UPDATE: I've started on a multi-player map with the editor - MOHRadient... It is slow going, but check back later and I should have a map ready...
More cool stuff... I was able to drop my team's lovely faces into this game too... Nothing cooler than making all the bots look like a friend's wife :).
Also messing with a map, which I might enter into one of the Unreal mod tornaments if I can get it finished in time... Will be like nothing I have ever seen before in UT2004. So far, initial tests have been all positive...
This is a newer game that one of the guys purchased for Friday night games. I've checked on the net, and was able to download some tools for this game too.
Wow, We downloaded the multi-player demo for this !!! We are going to have to pick up some copies... I need to see what tools exist for this game (and if it will run on my machine here at home ???)

This is one of my friend's favorite (He is a RTS fan). I told him I would look into maybe making a mod, map, or campaign for this later...
Just drop this into your map folder (I create a "Wild n Krazed" folder under maps and drop it in there). Don't forget to play with map settings on. Player 1 is the Arabs and player 2 the Israalis. There are a few minor bugs in this release, but none really affect gameplay. It does need more tweaking for gameplay and is more of a demo right now...
One of my friends feels that the building phase of Starcraft (and other RTSs) is too slow and boring. After playing my Bir Gifgafa scenario, they wanted more, but bigger...

This is a 'fast' map, you start will a city of buildings, so little building of buildings is needed. And you have enough resources to start building troups of your favorite type and start upgrades... If you can last one hour, a rescue force will arrive to relieve you...

I just borrowed this and loaded it onto my portable (only a 333). It runs and there are a slew of tools out there for it, so I might play with this if I can't get anything to run Generals on.
Well, this new game will NOT run on my old 450 >:^( Nor will the C&C:WorldBuilder. The Bir Gifgafa scenario was initially going to be a C&C:Generals map, but for now it's done in Starcraft. I'll have to see if I can find a machine to play with this more...
GOOD NEWS... A gaming friend just got married, and that means I can borrow one of his computers and his copy of Generals. I'll be spending his honeymoon time on modifying my Bir Gafgaga scenario into a General's map... Stay Tuned !!!

Well, it was supposed to be a two player map, but it seems the C&C Game engine will NOT allow multi-player scenarios, only multiplayer build maps ?!?! So, what we have here is my single player 'test' map... I never did get scoring working 100% (also, there are not any scripts to really control the actual scoring). Tank model graphics still need to be changed. Ambient Sounds still need to be added.
Just drop this into your Maps folder under your "\My Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Data" folder. Then, overwrite (backup the original) the english\generals.csf file under the Data directory in your C&C executable directory. And move all the INI\* files also to the DATA\INI directory (again, save off any files you might have there). This is a map that basically started as one of my test maps, so I cleaned it up alittle and decided to throw it out here as a multiplayer map. It supports up to 4 people.
The only known problem is the map name, It seems one needs to modify one of the Generals' files to set the name of a map, and I didn't think it was necessary to release a new system file just for this.

Another game I just borrowed, and it comes with a nice editor. The editor runs fairly slow on my machine, but I think it will work. Look for some maps in this in the future.
Learning Lua so I can mess with this some... There are some nice add-ons already for this game, but there just doesn't seem to be that one I want for my hunter. So far, I've made some simple things, but soon...
Hmmm, another MMO with Lua add-ons. So far, have not done much with WAR other than fix and tweak a few broken add-ons. The add-on need is not as great as it was in WoW...
