BD Technologies! would like to introduce the "Big Dick" Exhaust system for the Honda Hawk!!!

"The M4 will still clutter up yer view of the rim. What chew need is a Big Dick Exhaust System. Truly visually narrows up the rear of the Hawk, and lets the VFR rim sit proud in its unobstructed glory, makes whatever size tire look bigger than it is."

"I've documented building the exhaust ad nauseum; it should be in the archives. Short version: years of planning, did several underseat systems, high pipes, one moment of inspiration, endless searching for cans to fit, fitted M4 headers, sourced a 916 can, shortened it, made my own bracket, impressed my exhaust conscious friends. Some people seem to think it's the coolest thing, nobody even noticed at the local breakfast run, maybe do to a poor choice of parking on my part.

If you want to buy one, make an offer. A generous lister has contributed a TBR system to my ever expanding pile of hawk parts, so I'll soon see how nice those headers work, and somebody can make an offer on that system.

Sounds: eerily similar to a 916/996, which I don't really care for. I'm considering reworking the can to be straight thru/perf tube design, like all the race cans. Not punishingly loud like a Muzzy or a TBR round.

Ground clearance: unlimited, the system doesn't stick out past the tires. I don't run over speed bumps, but it doesn't hang down (hence the non Buell/Harley lawyer offending name) any lower than a fairing would.

Power: seemless and smooth, but definitely down from the full M4 system (running pods and Factory Stage 3), but still rideable, way up from stock. I haven't dynoed it, but I haven't optimized the jetting for it, but it doesn't ever cough or spit or backfire or anything.

A version to fit M4 headers is ready to go, but our R&D department hasn't finalized the finer points of the TBD adaptable system, and we'd like to have one for both, if that's possible, so everyone can be happy."
